We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Customer Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and executing data-driven strategies to identify annual customer cohorts for pricing adjustments. In addition, this role will be responsible for the ongoing monitoring and analysis of the impact of these pricing changes. This position requires a strong foundation in data analysis, a deep understanding of customer behavior, and the ability to translate data into insights that drive actionable pricing strategies that drive business growth.
What you’ll do & how you’ll make your mark.
- Cohort Identification and Analysis:
- Analyze customer data to identify annual cohorts based on behavior, purchase history, and other relevant factors.
- Develop models to segment customers effectively for targeted pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret data for cohort analysis.
- Pricing Strategy Development:
- Work closely with senior leadership to develop and refine pricing strategies for identified customer cohorts.
- Utilize statistical methods and data analytics to recommend price adjustments aimed at maximizing revenue and customer retention.
- Test and evaluate different pricing strategies and assess their impact on customer behavior.
- Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor the implementation of pricing strategies and track effectiveness over time.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights into pricing impact on various customer segments.
- Conduct regular reviews and make data-driven recommendations for adjustments to pricing strategies.
- Data Management and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of customer data used in cohort identification and analysis.
- Collaborate with data management teams to optimize data collection and storage processes.
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure data integrity and reliability.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Partner with sales, marketing, and finance teams to understand business goals and align pricing strategies accordingly.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making across the organization.
Who you are & what you’ll need to succeed.
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a pricing or customer analytics role.
- Strong proficiency in Tableau or similar data visualization tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

The target compensation range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 annually. Individual salaries are determined by various factors including, but not limited to: candidate’s qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience, as well as internal equity and market conditions.
