JOB DESCRIPTION – CUSTOMER DATA MANAGER

Marcone Plumbing has three national brands with Speakman, Wolverine Brass and PlumbMaster and a history stretching back 150 years in the plumbing industry. Marcone Plumbing is looking for a Sales Operations Associate to help manage plumbing projects.

The Customer Data Manager’s primary role is to support the Speakman Business by doing the following tasks:

  • Work with customer product teams, Speakman sales managers, internal customer service, IT, product data, product management, engineering, marketing and pricing teams to collect, audit and integrate data for our key distribution accounts.
  • Ensure accuracy of all product content within customer platforms and/or on customer templates to support sales and growth initiatives including, but not limited to:
  • New Product Additions
  • Product specification updates
  • Product Discontinuations
  • Key data fields
  • Product attributes
  • Product descriptions
  • Current pricing or pricing updates
  • Product images and documents
  • Manage Speakman data in customer data platforms, portals and templates
  • Timely support of new product sales initiatives working with the product and marketing teams to gather new product launch data to transfer to customer templates and portals for new product set-up in line with Speakman launch schedules
  • Perform routine data integrity audits (frequency is customer dependent) to maintain the most up to date product and pricing records.
  • Discontinued Products
  • New Product Additions
  • Pricing Updates – work with pricing and sales manager to manage timely customer pricing updates
  • Compliance and Specification Updates
  • Report any product data discrepancies found to Speakman product team quarterly
  • Update customer templates and portals to reflect any updates from Speakman product management, engineering and product data teams
  • Sales Admin Duties
  • Manage customer requests for updated reporting and template completion
  • Work with customer product teams, Speakman customer service and IT to manage part number aliases

This position is remote and there is no preference where the person needs to reside in the Untied States.
We are targeting a base salary of $50 - $60K. In addition, we have a market-leading 401(k) program with a company contribution, product discounts, flexible time off, and more.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Customer service oriented, both internal and external
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including v-lookup
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Ability to pull PowerBI reporting as needed
  • Must be proactive and demonstrate accountability with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively (customer due dates and multiple follow-up touch points, multiple step processes)
  • Capability to work independently on projects and task completion, meeting all internal and external deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Two plus years of data and PIM (Product Information Management) platform usage and management experience
  • Associate Degree or higher education
