In this key role, you have a unique opportunity to impact the commercial development of Arla Foods’ Danish retail and Foodservice business. This is a challenging role, where you use your commercial toolbox within category & sales development to define new innovative ways to drive growth across our categories and customers in the Danish market. You will lead a team of 17 highly skilled employees (seven direct reports) that plays a key role in the commercial decision-making process in Arla Denmark.
The position reports to the Vice President, Sales in Arla Denmark and is based in Aarhus. The role requires your physical presence in Aarhus minimum 3-4 days per week.

You will lead a team of colleagues who work with category, channel, shopper, price, in-store and customer development. Coaching, mentoring and providing direction, you will deliver insights-driven business opportunities, create solutions and implement initiatives for commercial growth – for our retail partners and for Arla Denmark. Your most important responsibilities will be to:
- Lead, coach and develop competencies and mindset in the team
- Build and scale the Dairy Business across Channels, Customers, Categories and Shoppers
- Support the portfolio of category, channel customer and new channel/business opportunities for 1-3 years ahead
- Support and challenge customer and category portfolio strategies across categories and customers
- Continuously ensure our development on how we work with customer insights, understanding shopper behaviour, and keeping up with market trends
- Drive next level of in-store execution and development, including cooler and retail space optimization
- Lead Net Revenue Management (NRM) framework across the Danish organisation, and ensure delivery of NRM opportunities and implementation in the organisation
- Facilitate and lead our progress within Management Assortment Complexity (MAC), to ensure a structured and efficient delivery of complexity reduction opportunities
- Regularly engage in customer meetings, where you showcase our commitment to consistently enhance the value of our collaboratio
