Description:

MECCAversity is MECCA’s destination for ‘beauty and beyond’ education that empowers our people and customers to look, feel and be their best. While MECCAversity’s origins are in supporting over 5000 team members to learn the skills and knowledge to deliver a best-in-class beauty experience. More recently, we have opened MECCAversity to the public, allowing our customers to access high-quality digital and face-to-face learning across beauty and beyond!
We are looking for a creative and innovative Customer Education Lead to work with the team to bring it to life.
Please be advised this role is initially a 12 month fixed term contract.
The Role You Could Play:
As we continue to pilot a ‘MECCAversity for Customers’ offer, we are looking for a creative and innovative education lead to work with the project team to bring it to life.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Developing curated education content for MVfC, including storyboarding, scripting, producing, hosting, and review
  • Working closely with the Customer Education Manager to develop the MVfC strategy and provide direction for the build to delivery process
  • Providing direction on content that is impactful, engaging and proves/disproves strategy and objectives
  • Ensuring the deliverables are aligned with the overall internal category education strategy to maintain clear delineation between the customer and team member offering
  • Driving consistency with the existing MECCAversity brand, core values and KPIs where relevant
  • Working with the wider business to ensure a high standard in all aspects including learning design principles, compliance, D&I, technical quality & production value
  • Contributing to the broader MVfC strategy

What You Will Bring:
Aside from your demonstrated learning development and design expertise, paramount to your success is your ability to work in ambiguity and approach challenges with a ‘can-do’ attitude and solutions-focussed mindset. You will demonstrate a genuine passion for education through delivering world class customer-facing content and displaying your excellent copy writing and presentation experience.

You will also be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Intermediate skills in production, filming, and basic editing software (desired)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, work collaboratively and influence decision making
  • Expert knowledge of the skincare and makeup categories, including commercial performance, customer insights, application techniques, trends, product formulations, and services (desired)
  • Ability to work flexibly in a faced-paced and demanding environment
  • Abundant experience in problem solving and working autonomously
  • Experience in change management
  • Flexible communication style, easily adaptable to suit relevant audience or medium
  • The ability to manage own workload, goal setting, planning and deliver on budget commitments
  • Advanced Microsoft suite skills (Powerpoint, Word, Excel & Teams)
