Description:

We are currently looking to recruit a Customer Service Advisor within the Thames Water Property Searches Team on a 26 week temporary Contract.
This role offers a valuable opportunity to enhance and showcase your administrative and communication skills. You will be responsible for handling administrative tasks and liaising with solicitors and specialist conveyancing customers, while representing Thames Water Property Searches. Ensuring that you deliver an exceptional customer service and resolution of customer issues first time around.
You will work within a supportive team environment, gaining in-depth knowledge of property searches. You will take ownership of your responsibilities and contribute positively to the continual development of the department.
What you will be doing as the Customer Service Agent
As part of the larger Customer Experience team for Property Searches you will be a recognised champion. We are seeking a reliable and professional Administrative Assistant to support with general administrative tasks and help manage phone and webchat communications, ensuring smooth operations.

Duties to include but not limited to:

  • Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, maintaining accurate records and updating online databases or systems
  • Deliver the customer experience required in meeting the process and standards agreed
  • Adhere to business fulfilment policies and processes
  • Identify issues for escalation to line management, having followed appropriate approaches to resolve the issue first hand
  • Identify opportunities to improve practices and effectiveness
  • Support the team with ad-hoc tasks, including telephony and online support
  • Demonstrate a striving for excellence through a positive attitude to targets & coaching and seeking support and feedback
  • Follow plans and schedules provided to maximise performance, and provide ideas for improvements

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using webchat platforms and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to stay organized and focused in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in customer service or administrative work is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Friendly, approachable, and confident in dealing with customers
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
