In this role you’ll get to use your fantastic customer service skills to deliver a service that our customers want to come back for and as a brand ambassador for Halfords, you will be able to provide an exceptional level of service for our customers across different communication channels.

KEY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Contact Centre or customer service industry experience desirable.
  • Excellent Customer and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Confident in a fast-paced environment, being able to demonstrate flexibility to changing priorities.
  • Have a flexible and open-minded approach to working, with strong multitasking and organisation skills.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team, and to work using your own initiative.
  • Excellent administrative skills with the ability to prioritise your workload.
  • A passion for continuous improvement, supporting your team and the wider business to ‘Be Better Every day’.
  • IT literate with knowledge of standard desktop applications such as MS Office.

Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with customer enquiries on the phone or by email to resolution, showing empathy and professionalism on every customer interaction
  • Answer all contacts within the agreed departmental SLAs, with a ‘first-time resolution’ approach.
  • Taking ownership of more complex cases, providing an effective resolution for our customers
  • Building rapport with our customers, identifying their needs, engaging with them, helping to keep a customer for life.
  • Ensure all customer contact is logged accurately and efficiently on the relevant systems.
  • Building strong relationships with other areas of the business to help resolve customers enquiries effectively.
