We offer a variety of programs and services including hotshots, cardio tennis, coaching and social competitions. Our programs open the door to grassroots participation and offer fantastic sessions that combines tennis, fitness and fun into the one.
    We now have the opportunity for a Customer Experience Supervisor to join our team on a part-time, permanent basis. Please note that this role requires you to work fully on-site at Tennis World Canberra.
    As Customer Experience Supervisor, you’ll be at the forefront of providing exceptional service to our valued members, enthusiastic coaching students, and diverse customer base.

    About the role

In this role you will:

  • Maintain a high standard of customer service excellence across multiple channels – phone, email, and in-person communication.
  • Oversee the consistent delivery of excellent customer service and administration by regularly monitoring performance and offering feedback, training and support to staff as required.
  • Be responsible for the development and coordination of all Tennis World Canberra functions such as birthday parties, corporate events, school groups, private tours and various Tennis Australia function bookings.
  • Provide effective management on a day to day basis in areas of safety OH&S and facility management.
  • Proactively identify event opportunities while building strong professional networks and relationships.
  • Promote team engagement, collaboration, and a vibrant workplace atmosphere.

About you

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and effectively collaborate with team members.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Point of Sale systems and experience in cash handling
  • Food & Beverage Qualifications are highly regarded
  • An understanding or passion for the sport of tennis is advantageous, reflecting an alignment with our core values and offerings
  • You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
