Who We Are:
The Atlanta Community Food Bank is working to end hunger in our community with the food, people and big ideas needed so that no one worries where their next meal is coming from. Since 1979, we’ve been providing food for a growing network of nonprofit partners – including food pantries, community kitchens, childcare centers, night shelters and senior centers. We currently serve more than 700 partners in 29 counties across metro Atlanta and north Georgia.

About the Role:
The Customer Insights Analyst will be charged with gathering and analyzing data to help the Partner Relations team act more strategically in serving partners and neighbors. One responsibility includes seeking feedback from our neighbors and Partners, including administration of qualitative feedback surveys, creation of data visualizations and presentations to tell stories about results. They will also analyze data to understand the meal distribution coverage of our service area and how it compares to food insecurity, identifying underserved areas and working with Partner Relations staff to pair the best strategies with that given need.
What You’ll Do:

Data Management and Analysis:

  • Design and deploy surveys to gather insights from stakeholders.
  • Analyze data - from surveys, from internal distribution patterns, from neighbor intake platform.
  • Communicate data insights with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Use distribution and SNAP applications to demonstrate coverage across our region.
  • Plan and execute routines to analyze and review data with stakeholders(monthly, quarterly)

Research and Strategy:

  • Use demographic, food insecurity and other poverty-linked metrics to demonstrate need across our region
  • Work with subject matter experts to pair distribution tactics (programs, services) with the need in the area
  • Research survey tactics to make partner survey process as easy as possible
  • Manage congruent workstreams

What You’ll Need: Skills and Experience your resume should demonstrate:

  • Proficient in data exploration, data manipulation, data transformation and data visualizations with large datasets
  • Proven success packaging data insights to tell a story and inform decision making
  • Must have strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate findings to those who will make decisions based on your analysis
  • Must have strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Demonstrated experience gathering customer insights through different channels, including surveys and focus groups

Event Better if you Have:

  • Hands-on experience analyzing data from multiple domains, including consumer employee, supply chain, and financial
  • Experience with creating and maintaining data visualizations in PowerBI
