Description:

We are extremely excited to launch our new Building Safety Team within the Assets Team at Torus. As a result, we are recruiting a number of roles to deliver our Building Safety Strategy, policy and management plan for relevant buildings and our higher risk stock across our operating areas of Liverpool, Warrington, and St Helens. The team will enhance the way our services are delivered to ensure we are compliant with the Building Safety Act, but also to ensure we provide customers within our higher risk stock, a safe home to call their own.

Responsibilities:

As a key member of the Torus Building Safety team the Customer Liaison Officer (CLO) will assist deliver a highly professional service focusing on liaison with tenants, residents, contractors, and Torus staff to ensure smooth delivery of safety and compliance services across the property portfolio.
You will support the critical work we are doing around health, safety, and compliance through customer engagement to provide a “golden thread” of information through customer engagement and to support access to ensure that essential compliance and safety workstreams are completed within target and our customers have a positive experience.
You will be an enthusiastic and committed individual with a strong customer focus and a flexible and adaptable approach.
The role is an important one in ensuring that our residents are kept safe and the organisation remains compliant. You will be a key point of contact for communicating directly with our customers to resolve issues and share safety information, so the ideal candidate will have strong organisational and communication skills, be flexible and adaptable and enjoy working with our residents, staff and contractors both face to face and on the telephone.
The post will primarily be site based and travel will be required. A full driving license is essential with access to your own vehicle which has a valid MOT and business use insurance cover.
