Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Based in the Gothenburg office and reporting to the Customer Marketing Director you will be part of the professional hygiene regional marketing team. You will cover the maternity period on a fixed term contract until 25-11-28. The role does carry the need for periodic travel (up to 40% per year).
The role is focused on activating ecommerce plans with our customers. You will be responsible for recommending, executing and evaluating digital demand creation plans for selected distributor partners in alignment with central marketing strategy and regional priorities. You will also co-lead the omni-channel activation, focusing on the digital touchpoints, in close alignment and partnership with local sales and customer marketing, with the ultimate objective to deliver as a team on your distributor’s JBP plan. Furthermore, you will be an advocate and subject matter expert of the omnichannel approach towards sales and customer marketing, helping to build digital competencies in the regional organization and establishing Essity’s Professional Hygiene business unit as an expert thought leader.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Develop and lead the execution of online customer marketing plans, (as part of omnichannel Joint Business Plans) for selected strategic customers, in alignment with the BU Marketing strategy and regional/local commercial plans. Customers are mainly in Sweden but can also be in Norway and/or Denmark.
  • Establish Tork’s digital shelf presence on distributor’s webshop, utilizing content and content sharing capabilities (Salsify); continuously monitoring, analyzing, and improving share of search, content integrity and accuracy in partnership with the distributor.
  • To drive demand generation through digital marketing you will coordinate local marketing agencies to secure development of customized content such as: co-branded sales support materials, customer catalogues, brochures, advertisements as well as digital sales tool.
  • Build strong brand equity plans with local Distributors, executing our Tork brand guiding principles and modeling our Tork Brand Omni-Channel Model with consistency and excellence.
  • In conjunction with sales and customer marketing, implement a robust marketing ROI model, incl. setting KPIs, evaluated and followed up on with corrective actions.
  • Act as an internal Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) and advocator of the omnichannel approach to customer marketing & sales; making content / best practices / learnings / resources widely available across the region to support local teams.

With a strong focus on generating growth through our distributor partners, it’s essential that you are customer-focused with a passion to sell in the value of the Tork brand face-to-face and online. The role is dynamic, covering many product categories and segments in a matrix organization. Therefore, an ability to handle complexity and work analytically in a structured way is an advantage. Furthermore, we see that as a senior marketer in the region, you are proactive, with a strong drive for results and prepared to take the lead and influence others across our organizational matrix. You should be able to formulate successful plans, follow up on results, and provide clear feedback to colleagues both locally and in remote teams.

  • University degree in Business administration/Marketing or similar.
  • Several years of B2B and/or B2C Marketing/Trade/Shopper-Marketing experience, preferably with focus on ecommerce.
  • Experience executing brand marketing plans with customers.
  • Strong digital literacy.
  • Experience with lead generation, digital marketing, and search marketing tactics.
  • Strong business and financial acumen incl. experience with campaign analytics and data-driven campaign optimization.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Swedish.
  • Education/certification in online marketing / ecommerce, search, and related courses is advantageous
