Description:

CUSTOMER MARKETING MANAGER

Reporting to:
Head of Marketing
Responsible for:
Growing demand in existing accounts, aiding account retention and enabling our sales team for success
Based at:
Hybrid Flexible Role with a link location at London or Portsmouth
Scope:
To take ownership of customer marketing and ABM functions. Working closely with the strategic sales team to drive customer advocacy, retention, penetration and expansion through marketing activities that provide insight, analysis, customer-centric collateral, case studies, campaigns and events.

Responsibilities:

  • To develop and deliver short-term and long-term ABM strategies and campaigns.
  • Providing customer analysis to identify potential demand, solution white space, target personas and engagement mapping.
  • Working collaboratively with the strategic sales team and product marketing manager to align our GTM strategy with our customers’ needs.
  • Devising targeted value propositions and customer-centric collateral and campaigns
  • Reporting on account advocacy, retention, engagement and other core KPIs.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our products and services to communicate the value proposition to our customers effectively.
  • Work with the sales team, content manager, copywriters and design agencies to create case studies, testimonials and decks.
  • Leverage the marketing tech stack (Salesforce/Hubspot/Zoominfo/Google/Wordpress) to share insight and provide reporting, tracking, and accountability.

Qualifications:

  • Have 5+ years of experience and suitable marketing qualification coupled with a passion for customer-centric marketing and a strong understanding of the B2B technology marketplace.
  • Have a proven track record of crafting account-based marketing plans that drive engagement and pipeline.
  • Have excellent analytical skills, a good understanding of customer analysis, and utilising engagement data to full potential
  • Excellent customer-facing, relationship building and internal communication skills
  • Be proficient in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), account prospecting lists, intent tools (Zoominfo, Demandbase, Cognism), and PowerPoint.
  • Provide strong project management skills who can successfully coordinate and direct multiple stakeholders, messaging, contact data, content assets mix, and timing to the customer-centric campaign execution.
  • Has experience partnering with external agencies and influencing internal content and creative teams.
  • Experience in planning and maintaining ABM campaign budgets and proving value and ROI
  • The ability to react and dynamically respond to the needs of the sales team and business, constantly seeking to expand reach and opportunities in active accounts.
