Description:

Essential Functions & Accountabilities

  • Typically does not have budget or P&L accountability but may manage day-to-day elements of the budget (e.g.,overtime for staff).
  • Communicates with parties within and outside of own job function, which may include external customers or vendors depending upon the job function.
  • Explains policies, practices and procedures of the job area to others within the organization.
  • Develops and implements Key Customer marketing plans (chains and independents) according to the market and the customers’ needs in order to ensure sales, profit and market share are achieved. Develops the overall Marketing Plans, representing customers’ key needs; Be focused on flawless execution and constantly monitors and reports on results, finding best ways to convey data to senior management and key stakeholders. Propose and implement effective actions for products and namely clients with the goal to reach the established commercial objectives, to increase our share of wallet and to satisfy customer’s needs. Ensure plans are resourced as far as development, implementation and tracking of promotional materials, events and campaign in line with the agreed marketing strategy
  • Develops customer annual business plan for one of the best customers that deliver profitable growth by negotiating target and customer budget in full alignment with the international team.
  • Manages the customer budgets needed to generate expected profitable growth. Aligns budget tracking with finance in order to avoid misalignment and ensuring the right phasing.
  • Accountable for all the private label launch process including pre-proposal assessment, approval and NPLCO creation
  • Guarantees and supervises all the go-to market initiatives, verifying that all the assets have been used to their full potential and that the deployment times are perfectly synchronized with the national marketing plan.
  • Look after the flawless planning and roll out of quarterly sales meetings, ensuring messages are duly communicated to the Sales Force and key accounts managers in the most effective way, through state-of-the-art communication skills.
  • Works with Professional Service Managers to promote and develop CooperVision’s products and services at best based on knowledge of customer’s needs
  • Liaises and coordinates with all other departments in order to ensure flawless initiative executions.
  • Measure the impact of the trade marketing actions and recommend changes for the future campaigns and marketing actions to exceed sales and market shares and support key customers achieving their own goals with us.
  • Play a key role in the monthly sales forecast process and recommend sales per channel/customer based on trends and available external/internal data and organize planning to meet the European monthly deadlines.
  • Propose new sell out activities to generate category recruitment.
  • Provides input on participation to key customers’ events and foresees organization and / or participation.
  • Ensures that all activities are in compliance with the medical device industry legal rules.

Commercial travel requirements (including a percentage of time): 35% = flanking KAMs and visiting key customers.

In Charge of Customer Marketing Activities in alignment with the Product Managers and KAMs/RAM’s, and based on agreed marketing Plan. Is also in charge of specifically identified projects for which he/she will be fully accountable. He/she flanks the Product managers in creating, developing and flawlessly executing marketing plans within the commercial strategy approved by the management in order to achieve sales and commercial objectives. Ensures such plans reflect also Key Customer’s needs (both chains and Independents) and fit into joint business plans a, by working side by side with the relevant KAM/Sales Manager and frequently touching base with his/her key Stakeholders at the customer’s. Responsible for the co-creation, development and implementation of the customer business plan of one of the most important key accounts. He/she will look at it by day-to-day management.

  • Effective project management skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen. A past experience in NKA, or KAM, as well as in brand management or trade marketing is required.
  • Ability to learn quickly and manage workload in a cooperative and demanding environment.
  • Excellent relational, communication and presentation skills. Able to influence and persuade.
  • Entrepreneurial skills. Willing to learn, to innovate, to bring new ideas to the table.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are critical – must adhere to deadlines, multi-task and be able to prioritize.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, proof reading and collating complex information into reports.
  • Ability to read and understand highly technical material.
  • Digitally Proficient. Strong experience in Customer and Consumer Promo.
  • Strong sense of Accountability and work ethics. Must be keen to walk the extra mile to deliver.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.
  • Computer proficient with Microsoft Office (Photoshop, InDesign appreciated).
