JOB SUMMARY

As part of the sales and marketing department, this role is integral to meeting Everts Air’s revenue targets by managing relationships with new and existing customers. This will be accomplished by becoming a trusted subject matter expert at coordinating the best shipping options for customers.
Compensation: $23.00/hr + DOE

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions
1. Collaborate and build relationships with existing customers through outbound sales calls, issuing quotes, preparing bids, and keeping customers apprised of relevant updates and changes.
2. Maintain existing accounts by providing support and relevant solutions to meet customer needs, conducting regular account analysis, and addressing any concerns in a timely manner.
3. Schedule and make outbound cold sales calls to leads generated from trade conferences, emails, and other outreach programs to identify new sales opportunities. Additionally, participate in community events to enhance Everts Air’s visibility within targeted markets.
4. Work closely with Everts Air Customer Service, Load Control, and Cargo departments to help ensure new and existing customers benefit from a seamless sale to service experience, especially with EAA and EAC charter services.
5. Observe and report on the competitive marketplace and prospective customers.
6. Collaborate with other departments to maintain comprehensive knowledge of Everts Air product offerings, processes, and changes to service.
7. Utilize Everts Air’s Customer Resource Management (CRM) platform to document sales activities, significant customer interaction, and competitive information.
8. Participate in conferences, exhibits, and trade shows to promote Everts Air services and business opportunities.
9. Assist with the implementation and tracking of marketing programs, including email, social media, and digital campaigns and events. Additionally, provide engaging and relevant photos to support these initiatives.
10. Provide feedback on departmental processes and assist in developing future goals. Participate in discussions defining objectives for the Sales and Marketing department that are achievable and realistic ensuring that they complement the company’s defined growth strategy.
11. Support and participate in an organizational culture in which a passion for continuous improvement is innate.

Qualifications
1. 2+ years of experience in cargo operations or a related field preferred.
2. Must be able to juggle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously without compromising on quality. This requires a combination of focus, organization and superior time management skills.
3. Flexibility and adaptability are essential skills needed to remain calm and evolve to ensure any changes are dealt with swiftly.
4. Must have a working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Outlook, Office products, and be comfortable learning the company’s reservation and CRM systems. Experience with Teams and Hubspot preferred.
5. Must have strong listening skills with the ability to interpret and analyze customers’ needs.
6. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
