The purpose of the role
Drive Profitable growth by providing strategic guidance, focus and execution of all Marketing activities within segments and targeted customers and for the appointed business unit

Responsibilities

  • Enable Innovation Commercialization
  • Leading Segment Activation by Campaigns & targeted events– Cross segment, cross category. Leveraging existing Innovation, Global FlavourIQ trends & Insights
  • Activation Marketing Calendar for the appointed business unit - focus on enabling the delivery of our Aspirations (Nutrition and Sustainability)
  • He-she is a key member & contributor of the Business Unit Go-To-Market team
  • The Segment Customer Marketing is responsible for the activation at European level of one of the Segments (Food Processors, Protein Processors, Retail). Drives the full product category portfolio relevant to focus segment within the region promoting value propositions to our customers and prospects
  • Support delivery & activation of Segment & Unit Plans
  • Contribute to the Category Innovation Portfolio to identify consumers unmet needs
  • Clearly positions Griffith Foods as the preeminent product development partner with key customers, collaborating with cross-functional peers to deliver best-in-class customer solutions
  • Assesses primary and secondary research and is capable of clearly communicating trends and insights to key customers.
  • Leads commercial efforts at trade events designed to elevate the Griffith Foods brand within targeted segment-specific trade organizations
  • Serves as a key project manager, supporting the Business development team on customer-specific product development opportunities.

Requirements

Education

  • Academic/master level, preferably in food technology, technical business admin, business economics, marketing or equivalent work experience

Experience

  • 5 years’ minimum previous experience in the UK&I-European Food industry. Experience in both B2B and B2C is highly valuable
  • Previous Experience at a Food ingredients Company, ideally in Marketing, Innovation, Product Development
  • Experience in Business-to-Business and clear understanding on how to create and deliver value propositions to Customers

  • Good financial knowledge. Being able to think in scenarios.
  • Knowledge of multidisciplinary project management.
  • Planning & execution
  • Results oriented, creative with excellent problem solving, analytical and influencing skills
  • This individual must be capable of turning insights into opportunities and drive customers to Griffith Foods solutions.
  • Builds collaborative relationships with direct colleagues, go to market team and site colleagues in order to meet shared objectives.
  • Represents Griffith Foods at Industry Conferences, Training, Meetings.
  • Interaction with market peers at Marketing, Innovation and Suppliers as appropriate. Builds and nourish relationships with external network of customers & industry institutions
  • Influences customers and business partners by effectively understanding consumer and customer needs and communicating the value of Griffith´s solutions.
  • Able to work in a matrix organization with multi-site multi-disciplinary approach.
  • French and/or German language(s) would be valuable.
  • The estimate of travelling is estimated around 30 – 40%. Mostly within the business unit. This will be according to the customers’ and internal meetings requirements. Regularly required to participate in cross-functional meetings.
