To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Sales Team Leader to come and join our team at our Sheffield Customer Service office in South Anston, S26 6NP.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills – verbal and written
  • Previous background in Customer Service in a Manufacturing environment
  • Willing to work flexible hours to meet the demands of the job
  • Working Knowledge of Windows based IT Systems.
  • Excellent telephone manner and accurate keyboard skills
  • Flexible and enthusiastic individual able to work under pressure and use own initiative
  • Desirable -Experience with a sales orientated environment, preferably business to business.

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE:

To provide excellent customer service to our existing and new customers, at Ibstock, we strive to provide the best customer experience by understanding our customers’ needs and providing product solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Dealing with sales enquiries by telephone and using the computer system with utmost accuracy.
  • Proactive selling.
  • Precise recording, monitoring and day to day dealing of all internal and external pricing enquires to increase sales.
  • Accurate pricing of all products, answering price queries and raising quotations, quoting and organising delivery times, entering call-offs, processing sample requests, dealing with the One World system, checking orders re price, quantity, discounts etc
  • General duties and providing cover for others in sales team
  • Resolving customer complaints quickly and investigating credit claims, ensuring they are processed speedily
  • Active participation in CI activities, attendance at regular training courses and team meetings.
