CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SALES SUPPORT TEAM MEMBER AT FREEMAN HERBS

Location: 4075 N Service Rd, Lincoln, ON L3J 1J4 (On-site)

Freeman Herbs is looking for a motivated, detail oriented, and driven candidate to fill our Customer Service and Sales Support position. The successful candidate will provide sales and customer support to the Sales department with weekly programs and account maintenance. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring our retailers’ needs are met efficiently and professionally. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming orders received by email and fax, and prioritize by shipping timelines.
  • Process and post daily orders accurately and timely.
  • Complete computerized order entry and invoice preparation.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of pre-booked programs.
  • Provide regular quality checks of products in the greenhouse.
  • Arrange product samples for new customers.
  • Complete DSD store calls in a timely manner.
  • Help with processing box labels and UPC’s during peak seasons or as needed.
  • Provide maintenance of internal data – sales codes, UPC’s, pricing and inventory.
  • Assist with preparing of customs paperwork, as needed.
  • Provide regular updates to the sales team regarding product availability, display racks, and graphics.
  • Work with the Sales Supervisor and Senior Sales Representative and the sales team to launch the annual spring call center.
  • Help train seasonal call center staff to reach our customer service standard.
  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers.
  • Communicate with customers about order status, unavailable products, etc.
  • Promptly acknowledge and resolve customer complaints and escalate as needed.
  • Receive, direct, and relay telephone and email messages.
  • Maintain records and general filing, keep invoices organized.
  • Provide sales support as needed.
