Description:

On behalf of Nationwide Building Society, AMS are seeking for Customer Service Consultants for a 12 month temporary to permanent contract, working on a hybrid basis.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Bring your enthusiasm for helping and we’ll give you full training before you take a single call. Strong teamwork is built into the way we do things so, even at home, you’ll have lots of support from friendly colleagues.
Handling a range of inbound calls, you’ll play a central role when it comes to supporting our members. We’re a building society not a bank, so our customers are members of our Society. Their needs are at the heart of everything we do.
We’re looking for Customer Service Consultants to support The Mortgage Works team. This role involves inbound telephony support in a contact centre environment.
You will be required to work 35 hours per week- Monday - Friday 8am-6pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays 9am-2pm, with time off in lieu.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Handling inbound telephone queries related to mortgage applications and servicing
  • Updating customers on their mortgage application status and with general mortgage related enquiries
  • Managing vulnerable customers with professionalism and empathy, understanding a variety of life events that may impact their mortgage needs
  • Performing a small amount of administrative work - data input, keeping records up to date
