Description:
Introduction
Daily contact with the retailers: booking orders, providing information regarding product availability, pricing, and delivery, suggesting alternative products, and solving technical problems like a true bike geek. Just a couple of tasks of the Dealer Support position within Shimano Belgium!
In this role you will become part of an enthusiastic Customer Service team consisting of 5 colleagues in our brand-new office in Mechelen.
Is helping retailers giving you a lot of energy, do you like variety (no day is the same), are you able to perform under pressure and do you want to talk and advise about bike products all day!?

The Challenge
- Provide customers with pricing, product, availability, delivery information on placed orders and support them with technical issues.
- Suggest alternative or additional products to customers to best match their needs or through company initiatives.
- Receive and process customer orders, inquiries, or complaints as the first line of support then escalating where necessary.
- Solving technical problems via web-based interface.
- Be a link between customer & sales teams to maximize responsiveness, share key information and support sales goals.
- Track the status of customer orders and alert responsible people should there be a deviation from plans or a bottleneck.
- Check credit within established limitations to confirm customer orders.
- Stay on top of the latest developments in the bike industry/techniques.
What are we looking for?
- 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Excellent language skills in Dutch and French.
- Excellent communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Proactive and self-starter attitude.
- Knowledge of the bike products / industry.
