We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Private Banking team, working together to provide a world class service to our most valuable clients.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide high quality sales support to a team of GPB RM’s focused on getting appointments for RM’s and supporting in servicing their clients.
  • Reduce the time spent on process and administrative tasks by RM’s to increase capacity.
  • Support RM’s to manage client contact and service, including, in the absence of

RM, answering client calls, resolving client enquiries on transactional needs, and facilitating a smooth hand-off to the correct channels where appropriate, and managing key event reminders to maintain active client contact.

  • Handle client’s enquiries and complaints relating to the RM portfolio in a positive, timely, and appropriate manner. Aim to resolve the customer’s queries and complaints at the first point of contact and minimize referrals to the RM for routine transactions.
  • Communicate effectively and works well with other teams within GPB, Branch, Call Center, HTS, and other relevant partners that impact the client’s experience of HSBC; to ensure a consistent approach and application of GPB standards.
  • Efficiently manages time to support different GPB RM’s concurrently.

Provide high quality support to GPB RM’s so they can provide maximum face time to clients.

  • Build extensive knowledge of HSBC systems and procedures to handle client needs independently.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE, YOU SHOULD MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree is a must for visa and work permit
  • Strong interpersonal and empathy skills with strong decision making and ability to deliver.
  • Prior experience working in financial services industry
  • Previous experience in Premier /Private Banking sales preferred.
  • Understanding of core products, GPB proposition, and familiar with retail and wealth product processes
  • Understanding of relationship management systems (CRM and RM Platform etc.)
  • Solid knowledge of appropriate branch operational procedures
  • Money Laundering Awareness Certificate is preferrable
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory governance in market
  • Knowledge of the Bank’s lending systems such as CARM, CLM & Security
  • Knowledge of local and Group compliance regulations
  • Able to deliver the client experience and needs-based solutions through effective communication, influencing, and sales skills.
