The Customer Service and Logistic Specialist is responsible for managing customer inquiries and ensuring timely and accurate order processing as well as resolution of challenges. This role also involves coordinating logistics to maintain efficient delivery schedules and resolve any shipment issues. Additionally, the specialist collaborates with various departments to enhance overall customer satisfaction and streamline supply chain operations.
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree in logistics or other relevant field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Customer service and logistics, inventory control, logistics
- Must have operational German (both spoken and written)
- Must be fluent in English (both spoken and written)
EXPECTED AREAS OF KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- General knowledge/understanding of end to end business processes.
- Relevant knowledge of order entry and its impact, logistics processes, from picking through delivery and billing.
- Required Skills & Knowledge: Analytical skills and initiative, self-motivation, excellent judgment and communication skills. Must be able to manage multiple priorities.
- Preferred Knowledge: Cross functional Supply Chain Experience.
- Familiarity with SAP R/3 or S/4 is a must, SAP APO/SNP preferred.
- Confidence to challenge the status quo and promote new and better processes and ways of working through influencing people at all levels of the organization.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
This position is only filled temporarily for 12 months.
Responsibilities:
Customer service:
- Coordinate tasks with the external Customer service team in order to respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide accurate information regarding products, services, and order statuses.
- Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to track shipments and ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or issues, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Provide support and assistance to the sales team as required.
- Assist in the development and implementation of customer service policies and procedures.
O2I Specialist:
- Coordinate with internal and external departments to secure order approval and fulfillment.
- Monitor the order progression from entry to delivery, promptly addressing any discrepancies or issues.
- Management of quota setup
- Preparation of daily report of order fulfillment
3PL Specialist:
- Interface to regional replenishment team covering assurance of proper replenishment planning.
- Collaborate with external teams to manage stock levels at the local warehouse in order to meet customer demand without overstocking or understocking.
- Ensure stock reporting from local warehouse
Others
- Provide and deliver packaging recycling statistics
- Support process of intrastat reporting
- Ad hoc systems or service-related project support
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
