QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or previous experience in a supply chain role
  • Material planning or other operations/supply chain experience
  • Large organization experience, and experience of using ERP/MRP software, Oracle software, Microsoft Office and Access would be preferred.
  • 3-5 years related experience within an ISO/TS16949 manufacturing environment.
  • Problem solver and ability to manage conflict and multiple priorities.
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Daily communication with customers and suppliers regarding order status and deliveries.
  • Process customer EDI releases daily, input manual releases and single orders.
  • Solve Finished good demand problems related to releases and logistic issues.
  • Daily follow-up of parts required for regular production and service builds.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Co-ordinate and track expedited shipments to customers and from suppliers.
  • Meet annualized premium freight objectives.
  • Responsible for raw material and component supply to the branch(s) (inter-co + external)
  • Responsible for releasing purchase orders with enough lead-time to ensure schedule attainment.
  • Responsible to manage out of branch supply exceptions (supplier issue, logistic issue, demand spike).
  • Responsible to order the right raw materials and components in advance of production.
  • Responsible to identify issues, create a plan and take action to restore normal operations and minimize impact of any disruption.
  • Verification, tracking and reconciliation of Cums, resolve differences with customer, suppliers, production, or other departments involved.
  • Investigate material shortages (missing Finished good or component inventory) and adjust as required.
  • Coordinate the launch and/or phase out of Finished goods and component material.
  • Manage ECO changes to ensure zero obsolescence.
  • Monitory inventory levels daily to achieve targets and participate in physical inventory process.
