THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a friendly, welcoming, professional and non-judgemental Customer Service Officer (CSO) to play a vital and integral role representing our organisation through reception and administrative support for a variety of BCH programs and services.
You will support the client journey through our service - from initial enquiry, scheduling appointments, welcoming at check in through to processing payments and results. CSOs are also integral to working as part of a team with our clinicians and other staff in ensuring clients access to a truly integrated, professional and cohesive pathway through our community health services and facilities.
This position will operate from all BCH sites, with focus of responsibilities coordinated via the Customer Service Team roster. Attendance at the Customer Service Team meeting (monthly and after hours) is required.
Responsibilities:
- Previous customer service and general administration experience is essential. Certificate or diploma in Business Administration will be well regarded
- Proven ability to provide excellent service to client, staff and general community members
- Understanding of and a passion to work with people from broad range of socio economic and cultural backgrounds and the ability to work with a variety of personalities and varying needs is essential
- Proficient switch board operation and understanding of cash handling and computer based receipting
- Covid 19 Vaccination and Boosters as required
