Description:

We have an opportunity for a Customer Service Officer to join our Supply Chain & Logistics team based at Pinkenba. This is a permanent, full-time role within the National Customer Service Team for our bulk products.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. Your days will be busy as you help customers to place orders, raise queries and look for information on their account activity. Some detective work will come into play for more challenging issues and you will have to utilise your knowledge and relationships with key stakeholders to get the best result. You will spend much of your day on the phone, as well as dealing with queries via email. Your passion and genuine interest in providing exceptional service means you will become a valued member of our team and delight our customers.

Responsibilities:

Your primary focus will include all order processing and related customer service activities via phone and email. In addition, as a Customer Service Officer, you will effectively liaise with other key areas of Cement Australia to:

  • Ensure a seamless high standard of service to our customers
  • Investigate, resolve and respond to customer queries in a timely manner
  • Provide proactive communication regarding deliveries and transportation issues
  • Support other business areas with queries regarding product availability and invoicing
