About the Opportunity
Do you have good communication skills, are organised, team oriented, have sound computer skills and previous experience in Customer Service? If so, then we have the role for you!
Council is seeking a casual Customer Service Officer to deliver exceptional service at our Customer Service Centres. While this position will be primarily located at the Portland Office, the successful applicant will also provide coverage at both our Heywood and Casterton Offices to support the wider Customer Service team.

What you need to Succeed
- Providing high quality customer service regarding Council services.
- Being first point of contact for Customer enquiries both in person and via telephone.
- Receipting payments from Customers for Rates, Animal registrations, permits etc.
- Experience and knowledge of computers and computer software including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Skills in managing time, planning and organising one’s own work to maximise output and minimise cost.
- Ability to work harmoniously within a team environment.
- Current Victorian Drivers licence.
- Ability to problem solve, analyse issues and find solutions to basic problems.
