ABOUT THE ROLE

ARC (The Australian Reinforcing Company), is currently seeking a Customer Service Officer to join our tight-knit team at the Wollongong branch where you will be working closely with sales and operations to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
This position is a fixed-term contract and will conclude at the end of January 2025. Hours for this role will be Monday to Friday, 7:00 – 3:00 PM or the option to start at 8:00 and work until 4:00 PM.
This position would be a suitable opportunity for someone looking to build on their existing customer and sales experience.

Your responsibilities:

• Providing outstanding customer service, over the phone, email and the front counter
• Trouble shooting customer sales queries
• Upselling and providing quotes to customers
• Sales data entry, general invoicing, administration, purchasing and inventory control

We are looking for someone who is customer service focused, has a high attention to detail and thrives working in a fast-paced friendly environment.

You will also have:

• Experience in a customer service focused role
• The ability to build relationships with a diverse range of clients
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A can-do attitude and a strong desire to learn and develop your skills
• Team player and can multi-task well
