Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the Customer Service team with a spirit of Service Excellence.
  • Answer the main line and direct phone calls – make Bureau Veritas easier to work with.
  • Develop a collaborative relationship with key personnel to ensure expedient processing of customer requests. Help our customers be more successful.
  • Answers questions from customer pertaining to bottle requirements, minimum sample volume & internal / external lab TATs.
  • Respond to client requests for bottle orders, pick-ups and deliveries, sample/results status. Create positive emotional interactions with Bureau Veritas.
  • Be solution oriented and never say “no” without providing alternatives.
  • Prioritize work to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Job Approvals
  • Review data entry in LIMS for errors
  • Work closely with Sample Reception to share information to ensure that the information entered into LIMS is correct the first time
  • Review pricing and surcharges and approve prices for invoicing
  • Reporting
  • Compile lists of reports due and ensure results are reported on time
  • Enter data to worksheets from subcontract labs
  • Faxing/e-mailing of results, reports to customers
  • Revise reports as required
  • Follow up on late jobs and with subcontractors, lab staff, and Project Managers
  • Review reports for errors related to EDD, or where there are specific review requirements
  • Subcontracts
  • Monitor subcontract report folder and attach / upload subcontract data as required
  • Check Job Confirmation emails to ensure correct sample IDs/TATs
  • Follow up on pending subcontracts-the day before the job is due
  • All other duties as assigne
