Description:

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

High levels of computer literacy using a range of Microsoft Office computer packages including Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel.
Customer service and administration experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

Are you ready to be the first point of contact for visitors and enquiries to Guide Dogs Victoria and to make a genuine difference to the lives of our blind and low vision clients?
The role is a permanent full time position, onsite weekdays.
Welcome visitors to reception in a courteous and respectful manner.
Connect visitors with the relevant internal staff member/s, including clients who are attending an appointment, group activity or our Residential Program.
Monitor email enquiries, including respond to or distribute to relevant person in a timely manner.
Organise and manage couriers when required.
Engage and build relationships with clients, health professionals and volunteers.
Support Customer Service Officers to complete client administration.
Provide a variety of administrative support functions including, processing reports, letters, typing, photocopying, faxing, emailing external mail (including alternate formats for clients such as Braille, Large Print, et cetera), and other administrative support as required.
Assist in the evacuation of employees in emergencies, including communications via the PA system.
