Would you like to launch your career with one of the most successful logistics organizations worldwide? Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Milton site is looking for a new Customer Service Representative to join our Contract Logistics team.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • HS Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or similar field
  • 2+ years of full-time customer service experience in a warehousing or distribution environment
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Warehouse Management System (CIEL)
  • Strong ability to quantify results and create accurate reporting

Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE

The Customer Service Representative is accountable for maintaining excellent service levels for our internal and external customers through accurate data entry, continuous process improvement and the prompt resolution of issues.Your Typical shift timings will be 6.00am - 2.00pm

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond knowledgeably and courteously to incoming calls and customer inquiries
  • Communicate with carriers, customer and suppliers
  • Responsible for managing claims, investigation flow ups and provide updates on order inquiries
  • Manage Service KPI’s and reporting metrics
  • Expedite rush order requests and follow up
  • General administration task in supporting shipment document flow and manage order exceptions to last minute customer requirements
  • Promotes safe work environment and support EHS policies
  • Work with Supervisor and Management team to enhance service levels
  • Coordinate / data input details for client KPIs around transport service
  • Comply with GMP requirements as applicable
  • Pursue continuous improvement initiatives to drive increased productivity and service levels
