Having gone through significant modernisation in all aspects of the business, we are now seeking a Customer Service Representative to join the busy customer service team and ensure the success of the past is continued into future generations.

Responsibilities:

Based in the Birmingham head office and working in a fast paced, friendly environment with a flexible approach to the working day - you will find FP offers a great place to work.
With a committed, knowledgeable team, many having been with the company for 15+ years, you will be supported in your role and hopefully build some friends for life in your colleagues.
We supply a diverse range of products including PPE, Tooling, Consumables, Chemicals, Lifting Equipment, Janitorial, Maintenance, Measuring Equipment, Power Tools, Workwear, Welding Equipment and many more.
You will be a key member of the team managing a multi-million-pound annual turnover across a range of customers in multiple industries but with a strong focus on the aerospace, automotive and power generation sectors.
You will represent us and the brand we are building on. You will play a significant role in creating a positive impression to customers and ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty are at the highest possible levels.

Daily tasks will include (but are not limited to):

  • Forging lasting relationships with suppliers & customers
  • Communicating with customers predominantly via email and telephone
  • Negotiating best cost with suppliers for quoted products
  • Generating customer quotations through our bespoke web-based solution ‘FP Group’
  • Sales order processing
  • Assisting with customer queries in a responsible, professional and efficient manner
  • Reporting and updating customers on KPI’s such as delivery status
  • Supporting other business areas to problem solve and support growth
