  • Proficiency with computers and various software, including Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and SharePoint.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of a one-year college certificate in physical education, public relations or a related field.
  • A minimum of one year of experience.in customer service, financial transactions, and the fitness and physical education fields.
  • Certified in Intermediate First Aid/CPR C and Automatic External Defibrillator.
  • Certification in Oxygen Therapy is considered an asset.
  • Experience with IntelliManager software is considered an asset.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • The ability to work a flexible shift schedule, including regular opening shifts from Tuesday to Saturday (Tuesday – Friday 5:15 am – 1:15 pm and Saturday 7:30 am – 3:30 pm).
  • The successful incumbent will be required to obtain a Police Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Check at their own cost.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and coordinating access into and throughout the facility;
  • Identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate services;
  • Completing registration and maintenance processes for memberships, parking, locker rental, towel service, courses and services, and pro shop sales;
  • Managing equipment rentals and set up, laundry and other cleaning;
  • Responding to First Aid emergencies;
  • Completing risk management procedures; and
  • Responding to customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints
