Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative I to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals with a passion for science and technology to excel in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Whether based in Toronto or Montreal, you’ll play a crucial role in providing exceptional support and service to our customers.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Fluency in both French (Quebecois) and English is required.
- Proven experience in a customer service role, ideally within a scientific, technical, or similar field.
- Exceptional multitasking abilities and a demonstrated capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational skills with an unwavering commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
- A genuine interest in science and/or mechanical systems is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Office 365 applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service for both internal and external clients, focusing on service repairs, parts management, and scientific instrumentation.
- Effectively manage multiple tasks and systems simultaneously while interacting with customers via phone and email, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- For Ontario-based candidates: Participate in warehouse operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all logistics and inventory management tasks.
- For Montreal-based candidates: The focus will remain on customer service and administrative functions without the warehouse component.
- Develop, maintain, and refine detailed reports to support various business operations.
- Utilize advanced knowledge of Office 365 to drive efficiency, support customers, and streamline workflows.
- Proactively identify and assess customer needs, delivering tailored solutions that exceed expectations.
