We are currently looking for a Sales Support Specialist in St Louis, MO!

JOB DESCRIPTION

Under the responsibility of the Sales Operation Director, the Business Development Agent is responsible for market development by finding new opportunities in the construction market, specifically in the residential and commercial siding installation market. This role is key to supporting sales representatives in growing Adfast’s sealant & caulking sales across the US. This position is carried out in person at our Earth City office in Missouri Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Have completed a college technique in business management, bureaucracy or any other related field or have equivalent and relevant experience for the position;
  • Experience in customer service
  • Experience in a manufacturing company (an asset)
  • Experience in sales (a strong asset)
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming customer calls for all requests related to sealants sold to siding installers and siding distributors
  • Guide customers toward the perfect product within our family of eco-friendly Adseal caulking
  • Welcome siding installers and distributors that visit our Earth city customer counter to find a product or pick up an order
  • Create and update opportunities in our CRM (Salesforce)
  • Create contacts and accounts in our CRM (Salesforce)
  • Create and send quotes to customers for the sales representative
  • Find the best color match within 400 caulking & sealant colors according to each customer’s siding
  • Contact our color matching lab when a new caulking color is required, to provide quick updates to customers regarding lead time, and follow-up when necessary
  • Carry out required communications and follow-ups with customers
  • On a monthly basis, analyze sales by customer to validate future needs and assess risks of customer loss
  • Answer sales representatives’ questions about customer sales history and inventory
  • When required by the customer, complete specific information forms
  • Conduct prospecting for new customers in the construction siding market and researching siding manufacturer websites, sending emails, and making daily prequalification calls
    -Perform rigorous follow-up of qualified leads
