The Kuratini Tuwhera is Aotearoa New Zealand’s leading distance and online learning provider. We are also a subsidiary of Te Pūkenga - New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology, together with all other Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics in Aotearoa New Zealand. Responsibilities:
MŌ TE TŪNGA | ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to add value to our Student Journey Centre. Our Customer Service Representatives play a vital first-point of contact for students and enquirers, and we are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter to join our motivated team.
The ideal candidate will have proven customer services or call centre skills and experience. Alternatively, you might be a recent graduate looking to take your next step in a high-performing organisation. Full training is provided.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong computer literacy skills, able to answer queries using a variety of channels including email, web chat and social media.
- Effective listening skills, a great telephone manner and the ability to empathise with enquirers from a wide variety of backgrounds.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
