Description:

We are offering a role for a Customer Service Representative in the non-profit sector, located in Uniontown, Ohio, 44685-7856, United States. This opportunity is a long-term contract position where you will be tasked with various responsibilities to aid in the smooth functioning of our customer service department.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be expected to complete Long-Term Services & Supports Questionnaires
  • You will be required to enter data into the PASSPORT Information Management Systems
  • You will be responsible for providing information on program options, eligibility, and community resources to customers.
  • You will be tasked with assisting callers in identifying needs and securing appropriate programs, services, and care settings utilizing available resource directories.
  • You will be facilitating the contacting of resources if a consumer is unable to complete or complete a warm hand-off, if needed.
  • You will be required to utilize Ohio Benefits and Ohio MITS systems to determine individual’s Medicaid and managed care status.
  • You will participate in community groups as requested.
  • You will be responsible for obtaining AIRS certification within three attempts.
  • You will be tasked with completing Phone Log and Time Card daily to accurately reflect time spent on each activity.
  • You will be expected to refer callers to telephonic consumer satisfaction survey per current protocol.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Excellent customer service skills with experience in handling inbound and outbound calls
  • Ability to efficiently manage email correspondence
  • Experience in order entry and data entry tasks
  • Skills in scheduling appointments effectively
  • Aptitude for answering inbound calls promptly and professionally
  • Familiarity with the non-profit industry and its unique requirements
  • Commitment to maintaining the organization’s mission and values in all interactions
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
