Description:
We are looking for a diligent Customer Service Representative to join our team in TONAWANDA, New York. As a Customer Service Representative, you will perform a variety of tasks related to customer service and order processing. This role presents an opportunity to handle a high volume of inbound calls, process orders, and maintain customer credit records. This job offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Answering inbound customer calls in a professional and timely manner
- Processing and coordinating customer orders with precision and accuracy
- Maintaining and updating customer records and order status regularly
- Collaborating effectively with team members while demonstrating independent working skills
- Utilizing organizational skills for efficient file management
- Using Word and Excel software for various tasks
- Handling customer inquiries and resolving them promptly
- Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action as needed
- Demonstrating an outgoing personality while interacting with customers
- Providing excellent customer service to maintain customer relationships across the United States.
- Proven experience in customer service roles.
- Proficiency in order entry systems and related software.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience in answering inbound calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Strong organizational skills, with particular emphasis on file management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Proficiency in using computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet.
- Flexibility to work in shifts if required.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills would be an asset.
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is desirable.
