Description:

DESCRIPTION

This is a reception and clerical position involving responsibilities for such functions as filing, word processing, placing, and receiving telephone calls, answering, or referring questions and clientele, recording messages, etc. Duties include, but are not limited to, document preparation, mail processing, copying, inventory of Authority forms, assisting with switchboard and receptionist duties, assisting walk-in clients, record keeping, report generation, and other general clerical duties. Acts as the front-line customer service representative and receptionist for the agency. Greets clients and the public and answers/directs inquiries, compiles data, and operates computer in performance of routine clerical duties to maintain business records and reports as directed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduation from a standard high school or possession of a GED certificate.
  • One (1) year of experience with general clerical work.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills required.
  • A combination of experience and training that would provide the required education and experience to qualify.

QUALIFICATION PROCEDURES

  • Prepares and submits required reports to supervisor.
  • Composes business correspondence as requested.
  • Performs special assignments as requested.
  • Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.
