Description:
We are in search of a Customer Service Specialist to join our team based in Maple Grove, Minnesota. This role involves interacting with customers, managing customer inquiries, and maintaining accurate records. You will be part of a dynamic team that ensures high-quality customer service in our industry.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers
- Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding queries such as product prices, availability, and delivery times
- Process customer orders, changes, and returns in accordance with department policies and procedures
- Address customer complaints about product quality or delayed shipments, and work towards a resolution
- Prepare price quotations and initiate purchase orders
- Manage customer inquiries, being their first point of contact
- Learn about our product lines and make recommendations to customers
- Compute prices, discounts, shipping costs, and sales margins
- Maintain up-to-date customer information in the database
- Identify and suggest additional purchases of products and services to customers.
- Proven experience in a customer service role for a minimum of 3 years
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to create and manage spreadsheets
- Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail
- Experience in billing and invoice processing tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to handle customer inquiries effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required, higher education will be a plus.
