POSITION OVERVIEW:

The resource, reporting to the Customer Service Manager, will be part of the Sales Area and will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of the customer management process.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma or Degree or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience (min 3 years) in Customer Service / Back Office Export activities (preferably in the optics industry)
  • Business fluent German and very good written and spoken English skills
  • Dealing with demanding customers on a daily basis
  • Knowledge of ERP systems - MS Office programs (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Strong service mindset and structured way of working
  • High degree of eloquence paired with friendliness round off your profile perfectly
    Smart working policy: 6 days/month remotely (after the first 6 months)
    Location: Karlsruh

Responsibilities:

Back Office Prescription Safety Eyewear

Management of contact with customer / distributor in pre- and post-sales

  • Data entry docs in the ERP system (Sales orders, Offers)
  • Check shipping procedures and documentation
  • Payment Management
  • Any post-shipment disputes
  • Post-sales phase management
  • Management of Complaints, Returns, Credit Notes
  • Daily cooperation with the sales team
  • Take care of customer orders (by phone, email, fax)
  • Check and release orders for prescription glasses
  • Processing all customer inquiries relating to orders, shipment status and invoices
  • Maintaining and managing customer data in the ERP system
  • Support at customer events and trade fairs

Direct contact with internal departments

  • Production to control the progress and fulfillment of the order
  • Warehouse for shipping and related documents
  • Account dpt for customers’ debts situation
  • Purchases for evaluation of shipping times and missing products

Support for Sales Area Managers – Branches

  • Offer Management
  • AM Report Evaluation
