ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting directly to the Head of Logistics, you will serve as a key member of our management team and play a crucial role in shaping our logistics strategy.
We are looking for an authentic and affiliative leader who can lead and inspire the Customer Supply Chain team and bring your deep strategic and commercial acumen to manage the strategic relationships with our major customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Lead the Customer Supply Chain Logistics Strategy
  • Lead best practice supply chain operations to optimise customer service and cost management outcomes
  • Proactively plan and manage major customer’s specific supply chain transformation and improvement initiatives
  • Develop networking relationships with key supply chain industry partners
  • Responsible for managing our customer transport providers
  • Assist in managing cost of service delivery whilst achieving agreed service level targets, providing the best possible outcome for our customers
  • Project management ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget

The successful applicant will have the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline
  • Proven ability to develop and implement a supply chain strategy across the business
  • Strong people leadership experience
  • Previous account management experience is essential
  • Ability to motivate others to work towards a vision and succeed
  • Exceptional relationship building and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and influence all levels of staff and external stakeholders
  • Sound knowledge of customer requirements
  • Sound knowledge of company supply chain process and system capabilities
