This is a great opportunity for someone to gain experience as a Customer Support Engineer who has a electro-mechanical, technical or engineering background. We operate within multiple industries and in this role, you’ll be supporting customers across a range of sectors such as Food, Beverage, FMCG Manufacturing and Packaging, therefore familiarity within these industries would be beneficial. We’re seeking candidates who enjoy technical challenges, working with customers and maintaining accurate records. Accuracy, attention to detail and a methodical approach to fault finding is essential. Representing Domino for the region, you’ll be reliable and organised with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience and identify further commercial opportunities. Candidates will be required to travel as part of the role therefore a full driving license is essential.

Responsibilities:

Joining the UK Field Service team, the Customer Support Engineer will be visiting our commercial clients to provide solutions and support across the range of Domino coding, marking and printing technologies. As the face of Domino you’ll carry out:

  • Installations.
  • Preventive maintenance.
  • Equipment health checks and repairs.

In this customer facing role you will have the ability to positively influence the efficiency for our customers, you will:

  • Investigate, diagnose and rectify faults.
  • Capture material, labour and stock within our service management systems.
  • Positively influence customer relations, input into product design, feedback sales and other commercial opportunities to colleagues.

This role will enable you to become a specialist in the Domino range of products, visiting both small and multinational clients across Southern England. Working with a high level of autonomy closely supported by the Regional Service Manager, internal Technical Support Team and your peers this is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys overcoming technical challenges and working collaboratively with customers and colleagues.
