Description:
JOB OVERVIEW
- This important role within our Soft Services Team to provide best customer service and providing security and safety. A can-do and professional attitude is essential. You need to ensure exemplary standards of Security and Customer Service are always provided to all on site.
Responsibilities:
- Readily interact visitors, brand partners within the shopping centre, delivering first class customer focused security service.
- Carry out regular internal and external patrols of the shopping centre as detailed in the AIs, being always proactive,reporting faults and/or H&S hazards.
- Continuously look for opportunities to be of assistance by helping wherever opportunities arise.
- Ensuring incidents are managed in accordance with site policies and procedures and logged on the system. Liaising with Control Room proactively reacting to incidents and ensuring colleagues are supported.
- Ensure any unsecure areas of the site are reported to Control Room promptly and action taken to resolve.
- Monitor/observe movement of people displaying suspicious behaviour in order to prevent and deter criminal and antisocial behvaiour.
- Maintain vigilance and highlight/manage unauthorised access by banned individuals.
- Ensure radio procedures are always adhered to.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business.
- Any other reasonable duties as requested by the Control Room, your line manager or Centre Management.
- Ensure a immediate response to all emergencies, security, H&S, first aid and/or any other issues and events.
- Complete all training requirements as requested by line manager.
- Be willing to cover absences.
- Work closely with the Environmental Services team delivering one service and highlight opportunities in working as one team.
