Job Description
The Customer Support Specialist will be a crucial member of the broader Customer Success Team. Responsible for delivering top-tier customer service throughout the sales process on our distribution platform, golfnow.com, the role involves tasks like modifying bookings and handling new bookings generated through the website.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for delivering exceptional customer care and aim to interact with customers and suppliers as part of a highly motivated team dedicated to exceeding client expectations.

In fulfilling the role’s key responsibilities, the Customer Support Specialist’s key priorities will include;

  • Customer Service: Resolve product or service issues, clarify requirements, offer solutions, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Sales Support: Recommend products or services based on client needs.
  • Booking Support: Assist in daily website booking tasks, including manual processing.
  • Product Support: Aid the account management team with weekly checks and general club support.
  • Relationship Building: Establish connections internally and externally through regular communication.
  • Proactive Approach: Respond to and follow up on sales inquiries promptly.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Customer Focus: Prior experience in a technology-focused customer environment is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.
  • Basic Tech Skills: Familiarity with communication/CRM platforms and remote support tools is advantageous; willingness to learn new technologies is essential.
  • Tech Enthusiasm: Passion for technology and a curiosity to learn are key traits for entry-level candidates.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are necessary; prior experience in call handling and assisting end-users is a plus.
  • Proactive Attitude: Demonstrated proactive problem-solving and time management skills are important for entry-level candidates.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and contribute effectively is valued.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree: While not mandatory, a degree in Computer Science, Business, or Communications is desirable.
  • Interest in Sports Technology: Passion for sports and sports technology is a plus.
