Job Description:

ROLE OVERVIEW:

This is a busy and dynamic team taking calls from internal agents and members to discuss eligibility and provide a range of health insurance options which can give customers access to diagnosis, treatment and specialist support services. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Speak with members over the phone who wish to make claims in the early stages of membership also assessing medical reports and liaising with healthcare professionals to establish eligibility in line with underwriting terms.
• Review paperwork received into the department including new business applications, maintenance of existing membership, Healthcare practitioner questionnaires and special condition related enquiries’ and ensure all are dealt with in a timely fashion.
• Obtain all relevant medical information required to evaluate a correct outcome.
• Servicing members at different stages of their claiming journey where medical assessment involvement is required and communicate the decision to the member in a clear and concise manner.
