Summary
- Ensure smooth running of the customs clearance operation
- Manage the work rosters and supervising the work performed by the clearance department in order to achieve the performance standards set by local management and yet ensuring that the regulatory requirements and customer instructions are complied.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATION
- Software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Communication skills (English), spoken and written
- Diploma (or equivalent)
- Line Trainer certified
- IATA Dangerous Goods Acceptance Certification
Responsibilities:
DHL Customers
- Provide technical advice on customs related matters to customers (internal and external), including solutions design inputs for new DHL products
- Portray a professional, courteous and helpful attitude in all dealings with internal and external customers
- Global Account Customer
- Contact and confirm for clearance performance
Customs Clearance Manager
- Assist the Clearance manager to implement and supervise the work procedures to ensure compliance to the standard clearance processes and standards
- Assist the Clearance Manager with customer queries or complaints handling as when directed
- Set up clearance profile and POA report
- Bonded shipments monitor by daily basis
- Provide assistance as when required in regulatory audits performed on DHL customs clearance operations
NCG Manager
- Set up clearance quantity report
- Bond age monitoring
Customs Authorities
- Ensure communication and negotiation with customs for trouble case.
Service providers
- IT support to provide stable system
All ICC Staff’s
- Organize and control the staff’s to achieve yearly target and goal.
- Monitor the COA & BOS to meet RO target.
- Maintain pre-clearance performance.
Gateway Operations staff at all levels
- Enable to ensure the shipment’s complete clearance
