DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Customs Operations Manager to play a vital role managing the Customs and NDNS teams within the Control Tower facilitating the movement of orders cross border for the customer.
Responsibilities:
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
- Lead the Customs team managing Export & Import activity along with query resolution, Proof of Exports and tax queries.
- Lead the NDNS team managing document checking activity along with vendor relationships, training and bookings.
- Accountable for Engagement, Employee development and Succession planning across the Customs & NDNS teams.
- Responsible for the relationship with Planning, Hauliers and Warehouse to manage the cross border movements and queries.
- Responsible for broker management, engagement and regular reviews of performance.
