About Us
The Children and Young People’s Mental Health Training (CYP-MH) are a suite of postgraduate programmes based in the Department of Psychology, School of Mental Health & Psychological Sciences (MHAPS), Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IOPPN at King’s College London) It is a service transformation programme led and contracted by NHS England.
About The Role
The post-holder will provide effective administration to the postgraduate programmes including queries, admissions, student progression, assessment and liaison with placement services when required.
The post is based at Denmark Hill Campus, and the post-holder is required to work with minimal supervision on a day to day basis but is also expected to contribute to a collaborative team environment. This is currently a hybrid working role. The post holder will report to the programmes manager and course lead. This is a full-time post and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
About You
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:

Essential criteria

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to draft documents and correspondence
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and the ability to work on new systems
  • Methodical, detail oriented and flexible in approach to work, maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders in a professional and assured manner
  • Proactive with the ability to work independently as well as delivering within a team
  • Strong numeracy skills and ability to analyse complex numerical data
  • Commitment to equality and diversity in the workplace

Desirable criteria

  • Degree level or equivalent qualification or experience
  • Experience of working within Higher Education and/or the Health sector
  • Prior experience of working in a customer facing environment
  • Experience in the use of databases, student records systems (such as SITS) and website content management systems
