ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • All candidates must demonstrate they have a legal right to work in the UK for employment at Allstate. Allstate is not providing sponsorship for this vacancy.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience designing, implementing, or working with data feeds to produce information security metrics reports.
  • Experience with Splunk or Sentinel/ADX to extract data and visualize for the reporting program.
  • Knowledge of relational database structures and visualization tools (such as Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Familiarity of information security industry frameworks (i.e., NIST Cybersecurity Framework, MITRE. Attack)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Knowledge of technology operating environments and platforms.
  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment as it applies to information security within insurance industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in cyber security, Computer Science, or related discipline.

Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE IN THE TEAM

Senior role within the Information Intelligence and Analytics team within Allstate’s Global Security Fusion Center (GSFC) to help lead and drive the cyber analytics reporting program forward.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify metrics that enable our stakeholders to understand Global Security Fusion Center progress and risks throughout Allstate.
  • Provide guidance to security SMEs around metric definition and threshold design.
  • Analyze data to identify key issues, trends, and observations for the attention of management.
  • Produce ad-hoc and regular metric reporting within specified deadlines. Ensure clear, concise and risk focused presentation.
  • Respond to security related data inquiries as needed.
  • Drive enhancements to the metric reporting program to enable business and technology leaders to understand the state of health of the Global Security Fusion Center.
  • Stay current with Global Security Fusion Center program developments, industry frameworks, and changes in Allstate that may impact reporting.
  • Interface with metric owners, senior leaders, BISOs and enterprise partners.
  • Provide executive level presentations.
