We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cyber DevOps Engineer to join our team in Orlando, FL. Must be eligible for Secret clearance upon hiring.
Responsibilities
- Work in a government program office with a broad knowledge of both development and operations, including coding, infrastructure management, systems administration, configuration management, architecture and provisioning, and DevOps toolchains.
- May lead a team and/or supervise others; provides guidance to less experienced staff.
- This position requires an onsite presence.
Qualifications
- Have a strong understanding of IT system architecture, provisioning, and administration; but must also have experience with the traditional developer toolset and practices such as using source control, giving, and receiving code reviews, writing unit tests, and familiarity with Agile principles.
- Integrate applications following Department of Defense standards and documented system engineering practices.
- Coordinate, communicate, and facilitate meetings with a variety of stakeholders, including Operational Test Authority, Operational and Developmental Test and Evaluations, senior ranking members of DoD, and research and development teams.
- Must have expertise in operating, configuring, and maintaining virtualization environments, networks, and server storage systems.
- General cybersecurity, testing, system validation, troubleshooting, and configuration management.
- Knowledge of Atlassian products.
- Work primarily in an unclassified facility with some activities in a classified facility.
- Should also possess interpersonal skills to work across organizational departments to implement and maintain a common configuration baseline across multiple IT platforms.
- Experience and understanding of DoD/government processes.
- Must be eligible for Secret clearance upon hiring.
- Minimum of 10+ yrs of experience in IT, Cyber Security, and/or Engineering.
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Engineering, or relevant field from an accredited college/university [years of experience may be used as a substitute for education].
