JOB DESCRIPTION:

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Vulnerability Management Engineer to join our team. The primary focus of this role will be on core build vulnerability assessment, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vulnerability management, security assessments, and risk mitigation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in vulnerability management, security assessments, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of vulnerability assessment tools and techniques.
  • Experience with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation of security tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, OSCP) are a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments on core builds and infrastructure.
  • Continuous improvement of the core build vulnerability assessment process.
  • Take part in projects related to core build vulnerability assessment.
  • Identify, analyze, and prioritize vulnerabilities in systems, applications, and networks.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and maintain vulnerability management policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Monitor and report on the status of vulnerabilities and remediation efforts.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques.
  • Provide guidance and support to other teams on vulnerability management best practices.
  • Participate in security incident response activities as needed.
