As a Cybersecurity Intelligence Associate in Cybersecurity & Tech Controls, you will be instrumental in protecting the firm’s digital assets and infrastructure. Utilizing your deep understanding of cybersecurity intelligence methods, you will monitor and assess industry-specific attack vectors, identify emerging trends, and evaluate potential risks to systems, data, the brand, and clients. Your contributions will have direct impact on team and department objectives, and informing firm-wide risk mitigation and remediation strategies. Your role is vital in enhancing the firm’s security posture and defending against the continuously evolving cyber threat landscape.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, Information Security, or related field
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, JavaScript, PowerShell) for task automation and data analysis
  • Demonstrated ability in (Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) research, social media trend analysis, and public source information gathering
  • Strong knowledge of information security principles, network protocols, and malware analysis techniques

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively monitor and analyze global cyber threats, using intelligence from various sources to identify trends and potential risks to the firm’s systems, data, and clients
  • Conduct thorough assessments of potential cyber threats, applying advanced analytical techniques and tools to evaluate the credibility, impact, and likelihood of threats materializing
  • Collaborate in analysis sessions with peers, sharing insights and refining findings on relevant cyber-attacks, contributing to plans for intelligence enrichment and dissemination
  • Assist in creating and refining threat hunting playbooks, incorporating best practices and regulatory requirements for effective threat detection and response
